Frame Tutorial for the Swing Using Painter6.

The original picture was 300 wide x 400 high.

1. I selected the background and floated it. I then went down to the Canvas layer and choose Canvas/Canvas Size and increased the size by 50 pixels on each side.  (New Canvas size is now 400 x 500)

2. I filled the canvas layer with a blue check pattern I had created.

3. Next I created a new layer that was positioned just above the canvas layer.
Art Materials/ Looks I opened my Looks library I created and have stored in another directory and choose the Flower Basket Lace Pattern I made (see below). Using the Pattern Pen, Masked I shot straight lines along the border of the canvas. Then I checked perserve transparency on the layer and filled it with a dark blue. See my Tutorial for creating Looks  Looks Tutorial

4. I thought it still needed something, so opened my Objects library that contains all my objects I have created. (Objects/Image Portfolio)  I pulled out the leaf image below created a duplicate which I flipped vertically below the original, (Effects/Orientation/Flip Veritical) grouped the two leaves and collapsed them into one image. Duplicated the new image 3 times and flipped them placing them just under the lace border.  I decrease the opacity of the leaf objects to 25%
